Those who courageously commit to marry persons with disabilities embody
unconditional love. Proverbs declares: “He that hath pity upon the poor landed
unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will He pay him again”
(Proverbs 19:17).
But love must be supported by accessible healthcare,
financial empowerment, and social protection systems.
Companionship is not only spiritual—it is practical. To honor disabled partners
is to honor Christ Himself, but society must dismantle barriers that make such
unions difficult.
CCF Mandate: DISABILITY COMPASSION OUTREACH calls
on donor partners, governments, and civil society
to support programs that empower couples with disabilities through housing,
healthcare, and livelihood initiatives. Marriage becomes not only a covenant but a cosmic
testimony of inclusivity and empowerment.
